Well, how do I begin to describe how wonderful Sue and her fantastic team were in helping me find the perfect Mother of the bride outfit. They were simply amazing and nothing was too much trouble in getting my chosen dress perfect. When I expressed concerns I had over the fitting of my outfit Sue very professionally and with lots of patience altered the dress several times until we finally felt it was right! Like I said nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Sue, I loved my outfit from the moment I saw it and you helped make me feel a million dollars. I’ve lost count now of how many people have told me they loved my dress too!

My mum also found her outfit at Cream and also can’t thank you enough for your help. We definitely hope to see you all again very soon.

Cream is an absolutely amazing Gem of a shop ! I had been to so so many places trying to find an outfit to wear at my daughters wedding and had nearly given up hope then I came across Cream . From the moment I walked in Sue and her team were so welcoming, so knowledgeable and I knew this was the place I would find the outfit . Not only did she have the dress in my size but also I was able to hire the hat to go with it . The alterations were free of charge and were done really fast because I hadn’t left much time – sorry Sue ! There was such a range of outfits to choose from I know next time I need something for a special occasion I will just go straight back to Cream . Thank you once again Sue

I can not thank Sue and her team enough for the help guidance and patience given when choosing my outfit for my Sons wedding. I visited the shop on 5 occasions purely because I didn’t feel good about myself and was so indecisive. Sue was wonderful and really did spend the time reassuring me. On the big day I felt a million dollars and was so pleased with my outfit. If you need something extra special with a very big selection then I would recommend you visit Cream. Travelled for an hour to visit this shop and I found the Perfect Dress for my Son’s Wedding. Lovely ladies, extremely helpful and polite. Having very successfully purchased my Mother of the Bride outfit from Sue in 2019, I recently returned to purchase my Mother of the Groom outfit. The service from Sue and her Team is first class in every respect. I felt so comfortable on each occasion, selecting and trying on as many outfits as I wished to, with my favourites perfected by the Team finding endless hats or hatinators to try. Their experience at knowing what one looks best in shines through, resulting in me having 2 stunning outfits. Highly recommend this shop if you are going to be a MOB or MOG or have a wedding to attend. A big thank you from me to Sue and your lovely team.

Cream made choosing a special outfit so easy. They have such a wide range of stylish outfits to choose from. The staff are very helpful giving good advice and I never felt rushed. I am delighted with the dress I chose and the free alteration service has ensured that it fitted perfectly on the day. They also have great accessories, meaning I was able to get a beautiful hat, shoes and jewellery all at the same time. If you’re looking for that special outfit this is the place to go.

After trying what seems like hundreds of outfits at different stores I went to Cream and it was very relaxed. I ended up buying the whole outfit including hat shoes and bag.
I had my grandchildren and friend with me and the staff were lovely. We had a fabulous wedding in May and the comments about my outfit were wonderful – so I do recommend that paying a bit more for an outfit is worthwhile.

What a fantastic and enjoyable experience getting the most special outfit I will ever wear!
I was told to go to Cream and Sue after Anne Furbank said they had limited choice in larger sizes. I tried several on and the last was ‘the one’ but needed some alterations which Sue has done and I can’t wait to wear the outfit to the wedding in 2 weeks. What was a worrying start – would I find the right outfit in a colour I liked? has turned into the perfect fit – thank you Sue. Shoes, handbag and hat all complemented to perfection. At no point was there pressure to buy, and the selection is outstanding – I cannot believe anyone could not find an amazing outfit in here and for reference I did go in jeans and Converse the first time!!! No airs and graces!! Thank goodness there are still places like Cream for those extra special occasions when truly ‘only the very best will do’. My daughter got married on Saturday 6th April 2024. Where do I start to thank Sue the owner of Cream. From my first telephone conversation with Sue I knew she was going to help me find my MOB outfit. I explained to Sue what I was looking for a Condici outfit. At my first appointment Sue had the perfect outfits ready waiting for me. The second outfit I tried on was the dream outfit I brought. Sue also had the perfect hat that I dreamt of having. My outfit needed alot of alterations and with Sue’s professional experience she basically redone my whole outfit with total perfection and at no extra cost. Sue is a real gem I was so nervous going to find my MOB outfit, but Sue made me feel so comfortable. I received so many compliments from guests telling me that I looked stunning. This was all down to you Sue. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your kindness and for making me feel so special. I would highly recommend Cream to my friends and family. Went on Saturday to help a friend choose a dress for her daughter’s wedding. Friend was a little nervous getting the right dress.
Staff were brilliant trying to put her at ease with helping with colours and sizing.
Also was given a great discount from the owner who was a very lovely lady.

Found my mother of the bride dress here. I felt fabulous. Staff were helpful and attentive. They stock occasion wear, shoes, fascinators, underwear, hosiery and more.

I recently bought the dress for my daughter’s wedding. Sue worked so hard on the alterations and nothing was too much trouble. The customer care couldn’t have been better. The dress feels and looks just as I had hoped and I can’t wait to wear it. I would thoroughly recommend Creams if you are looking for that special outfit, and not just for weddings.

Had a lovely time at creams picking my mother of the bride outfit. They have so much to choose from and the staff are so patient I tried so many on in all styles and colours best of all the lady who looked after me was honest and didn’t try to push me to buy anything. But I did get my outfit and I am so happy it looks gorgeous and makes me feel great. I am not the easiest person to pick an outfit for but I’m so pleased

I went into Cream to look for an outfit for my daughter’s wedding on 16 July 2022 – I can honestly say what a wonderful experience – Sue, the owner, could not do enough for me – I chose the perfect outfit and Sue matched it up with shoes, bag and fascinator – I was blown away.

Obviously, my daughter was the star of the show and wowed everybody in her dress, however, the amount of lovely comments I received on my outfit was rather special.

I highly recommend Cream in Royston as definitely the place to go if you want to find a special outfit.

I have just collected my Mother of the Bride dress from Sue Ross of Cream. The whole experience has been positive and professional. From the initial visit when Vanessa helped me try on numerous dresses until we found “the one” right up to my collecting the altered dress from Sue yesterday – the customer service has been brilliant. The alterations were not straightforward (sleeves had to come out and go back in – do not ask!) and Sue was meticulous in making sure everything fitted perfectly. I have no hesitation in recommending Cream – a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end.

Over 20 years, three generations of our family have returned to Cream and all of us continue to find Sue & her team outstanding: insightful, knowledgeable, cheerful, huge choice of outfits & styles over a wide price range, & tailoring skills second to none. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for the excellent, warm and friendly service, and the massive choice of outfits. After searching many other stores, and travelling quite a few miles, we found Cream, and were amazed by the vast choice on offer. When I finally found an outfit I loved, I was given a selection of about six or seven hats that went with the outfit (the other shops I had visited only ever had one or two hats that would go with any one outfit and some had none).
Our official photos aren’t back yet, but here’s one taken on the day with my daughter.

Popped in for a look around last Thursday and am I glad I did! Plenty of choice for Mother of the Bride outfits. I met Shirley who was fantastic!! She quietly helped and advised as I went along the rails, being on hand to assist whilst I was trying on quite a few outfits. I fell in love with a beautiful dress and coat and Shirley found me the perfect hat to match, with shoes and a bag my outfit was complete. I was thrilled at how quickly it all came together.

I visited Cream a few weeks ago at the end of a tortuous search to find an outfit for my daughter’s wedding. I was disappointed by the dress suit I wore for a previous wedding and I had lost a lot of weight after seeing the photographs. I hadn’t been able to find the right style despite a lengthy search, and I was losing what little confidence I once possessed.
Arriving in the first room of the shop, I was struck by the quiet but genuine welcome I received. The variety of colours and styles were encouraging and it wasn’t long before I was trying on lots of different dresses, something I hadn’t felt comfortable enough to do in a number of other shops. The help I received was excellent. Ultimately I found the perfect ensemble at a superb price.
I think the staff at Cream are wonderful. They allowed me space to explore, whilst carefully and respectfully supporting me in my search. They loved clothes and knew their stock well. I love the beautiful red suit I purchased, something I would never have tried without encouragement. I am genuinely looking forward to wearing it in early November. I live in north Norfolk, but I shall definitely return to Royston again to enjoy shopping at Cream. Thank you

As mother of the bride, the pressure was on to find the perfect outfit. I’m not the ideal model as I’m 4ft 10 and size 16! So, a real challenge.
I first met Sue (proprietor of Cream) at a wedding fayre in Chelmsford. I immediately felt a connection and felt confident that she and her staff would help me find the perfect outfit.
My husband, daughter and I visited her store and we were not disappointed. The staff were patient, and very helpful. I lost count on how many outfits I tried on. To cut a long story short, I ended up buying two Mother of the Bride outfits and two other evening dresses! Alterations were done by Sue. I would highly recommend Cream to anyone looking for a personal, professional and friendly service. There are so many beautiful outfits to choose from. You will not be disappointed.
