Sue and her team were wonderful!
They made my mother look and feel a million dollars for my sister’s wedding day. Her dress needed a number of complicated alterations which were expertly done by Sue as a courtesy and part of the service – amazing talent.

What a fantastic and enjoyable experience getting the most special outfit I will ever wear!
I was told to go to Cream and Sue after Anne Furbank said they had limited choice in larger sizes. I tried several on and the last was ‘the one’ but needed some alterations which Sue has done and I can’t wait to wear the outfit to the wedding in 2 weeks. What was a worrying start – would I find the right outfit in a colour I liked? has turned into the perfect fit – thank you Sue. Shoes, handbag and hat all complemented to perfection. At no point was there pressure to buy, and the selection is outstanding – I cannot believe anyone could not find an amazing outfit in here and for reference I did go in jeans and Converse the first time!!! No airs and graces!! Thank goodness there are still places like Cream for those extra special occasions when truly ‘only the very best will do’. I am going to feel fantastic and know that I made the effort for Rebecca’s day. Thank you for making that a reality Sue, your team and Cream. x

Thank you so much for the excellent, warm and friendly service, and the massive choice of outfits. After searching many other stores, and travelling quite a few miles, we found Cream, and were amazed by the vast choice on offer. When I finally found an outfit I loved, I was given a selection of about six or seven hats that went with the outfit (the other shops I had visited only ever had one or two hats that would go with any one outfit and some had none).
Our official photos aren’t back yet, but here’s one taken on the day with my daughter.

I would like to thank the wonderful Sue and her staff at Cream for the fantastic service I received when buying an outfit for my son’s wedding. Nothing was too much trouble for them even staying past closing time to help me find the perfect dress. They have an extensive range of outfits and sizes, something for everyone. The alterations that Sue did were perfect and to the highest standard. I’m so excited to wear my outfit next week, so thank you again ladies.

I went to Cream to buy a dress for my daughter’s wedding and had decided to change the dress as was not sure about the colour, the staff were absolutely lovely so helpful. They exchanged the dress for another with no problems. I would highly recommend this shop. Thank you again.

As mother of the bride, the pressure was on to find the perfect outfit. I’m not the ideal model as I’m 4ft 10 and size 16! So, a real challenge.
I first met Sue (proprietor of Cream) at a wedding fayre in Chelmsford. I immediately felt a connection and felt confident that she and her staff would help me find the perfect outfit.
My husband, daughter and I visited her store and we were not disappointed. The staff were patient, and very helpful. I lost count on how many outfits I tried on. To cut a long story short, I ended up buying two Mother of the Bride outfits and two other evening dresses! Alterations were done by Sue. I would highly recommend Cream to anyone looking for a personal, professional and friendly service. There are so many beautiful outfits to choose from. You will not be disappointed.

After trying what seems like hundreds of outfits at different stores I went to Cream and it was very relaxed. I ended up buying the whole outfit including hat shoes and bag.
I had my grandchildren and friend with me and the staff were lovely. We had a fabulous wedding in May and the comments about my outfit were wonderful – so I do recommend that paying a bit more for an outfit is worthwhile.

Popped in for a look around last Thursday and am I glad I did! Plenty of choice for Mother of the Bride outfits. I met Shirley who was fantastic!! She quietly helped and advised as I went along the rails, being on hand to assist whilst I was trying on quite a few outfits. I fell in love with a beautiful dress and coat and Shirley found me the perfect hat to match, with shoes and a bag my outfit was complete. I was thrilled at how quickly it all came together.

I have just collected my Mother of the Bride dress from Sue Ross of Cream. The whole experience has been positive and professional. From the initial visit when Vanessa helped me try on numerous dresses until we found “the one” right up to my collecting the altered dress from Sue yesterday – the customer service has been brilliant. The alterations were not straightforward (sleeves had to come out and go back in – do not ask!) and Sue was meticulous in making sure everything fitted perfectly. I have no hesitation in recommending Cream – a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end.

I visited Cream a few weeks ago at the end of a tortuous search to find an outfit for my daughter’s wedding. I was disappointed by the dress suit I wore for a previous wedding and I had lost a lot of weight after seeing the photographs. I hadn’t been able to find the right style despite a lengthy search, and I was losing what little confidence I once possessed.
Arriving in the first room of the shop, I was struck by the quiet but genuine welcome I received. The variety of colours and styles were encouraging and it wasn’t long before I was trying on lots of different dresses, something I hadn’t felt comfortable enough to do in a number of other shops. The help I received was excellent. Ultimately I found the perfect ensemble at a superb price.
I think the staff at Cream are wonderful. They allowed me space to explore, whilst carefully and respectfully supporting me in my search. They loved clothes and knew their stock well. I love the beautiful red suit I purchased, something I would never have tried without encouragement. I am genuinely looking forward to wearing it in early November. I live in north Norfolk, but I shall definitely return to Royston again to enjoy shopping at Cream. Thank you
